My Pickup Point is closing – You can choose the delivery method online or via OmaPosti

4/13/2025

We are developing our services to make parcel deliveries as convenient for you as possible. We are closing My Pickup Point, a feature found in OmaPosti, on May 20. You can continue to choose how we deliver your parcel in an online store or via OmaPosti.

Choosing the pickup point in an online store is becoming increasingly common

You have been able to set My Pickup Point in OmaPosti. We have delivered your parcel to your My Pickup Point if you haven’t selected a specific pickup location.

Shopping online has developed, and most customers will now choose their preferred parcel locker or service point in an online store. My Pickup Point is only directing a small portion of our parcels.

We have also heard feedback from customers. Many have seen it as a challenge that My Pickup Point is easy to accidentally leave on. In those cases, a parcel that you order to your summer cottage or to another person may go to My Pickup Point, even if you don’t want it delivered there.

OmaPosti offers many ways to control parcel delivery

You can continue to choose where you want your parcel delivered in an online store. You can also find many ways to control the parcel delivery in OmaPosti – so you could get each parcel to a location that’s convenient for you.

You can change the pickup point in OmaPosti when the app notifies you that your parcel is on its way. While changing the location, you can see how full different places are. You can also order a home delivery for your pickup parcel for an extra cost. OmaPosti is available for free in the app store. More information: posti.fi/omaposti.

We are constantly developing our services so we could deliver parcels on your terms. We are also expanding our network so you could get parcels close to your home. Last year, for example, we opened around 150 new parcel lockers and expanded around a hundred of our popular parcel lockers. You can pick up parcels from approximately 1,100 Posti service points and 2,000 parcel lockers around Finland.
