You can now pick up Posti parcels from service points using a pickup code, which does not require you to prove your identity.
The pickup code is visible for the recipient in the OmaPosti app and the notice of arrival. Its purpose is to speed up parcel pickups and ease the work at Posti service points. Service point personnel will check the pickup code when handing you the parcel.
Someone can pick up a parcel on your behalf, using the pickup code. They will not need proof of identity or a power of attorney.
All items will not have a pickup code. This includes registered items, for example. To pick them up, you will still need the tracking ID and proof of identity. If your ID is needed, the notice of arrival will remind you to bring it.
You do not need to use the pickup code and can continue to pickup parcels using the tracking ID and proof of identity instead.
