Shipments arriving in Finland by air from outside the EU are still experiencing delays. The delays are due to missing security data that the countries of origin and the airline are responsible for delivering.
The delays are caused by the European Union security data regulation, which determines what information shipments need to contain when they arrive to Finland.
Shipments from Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and South Korea have been particularly lacking in information.
Due to the delays, you may not be able to clear your shipment immediately when it arrives to Finland. If you cannot clear the shipment, please wait.
You will receive a new notification when the item is ready for customs clearance, if you need to clear it. We will clear some items arriving from outside the EU (so-called IOSS purchases) on your behalf once we complete the missing information.
We release shipments for clearance daily and address challenges related to missing data with high priority in cooperation with Customs, airlines, and countries of origin. We have also significantly extended the storage time for shipments arriving from outside the EU to prevent them from being returned.
