In 2020, the exceptional circumstances caused by the coronavirus have severely tested Finland and the transport sector. However, we have continued to develop our services and expand our parcel locker network - we now have over 2,700 pickup and service points - and to work on projects such as the digitalization of the freight services' supply chain. Our top priority is to guarantee the safety of our employees and customers, and to make sure that parcels and freight are delivered smoothly also under exceptional circumstances.
Due to rising costs, we will adjust the prices and terms of our services from October 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021.
From October 1, 2020
The prices of Posti Freight, Express Freight, Home Delivery and Freight contract services will go up by 1.9%.
The fuel surcharge for freight will be introduced for Express Freight. The change will not affect total prices.
Changes will be made to the prices and terms of Posti's additional services for freight.
The method for calculating the fuel surcharge for Posti's parcel services will change.
The fuel surcharge for parcel services will be added to the prices of Posti's pickup and delivery services.
From January 1, 2021
The prices of domestic and international parcel services as well as the related additional and installation services, courier services and meal as well as regional contract transport services will go up by 0.9%.
The prices of Posti's pickup and delivery services as well as Fast Track and GLUE additional services will not change.
Pricing changes for some individual services may differ from the ones stated above. The new list prices will be available on our website as soon as they take effect.
