There may be delays in the handling of parcels arriving from outside the EU. Because of the delays, you may not be able to clear your parcel right away when it arrives to Finland.
The delays are caused by the European Union security data regulation, which determines what information parcels need to contain when they arrive to Finland. If information is missing, we need to search for it and complete it at Posti. The processes for completing parcel information have recently changed, but we are working closely together with Customs and other operators to make sure items are delivered efficiently to recipients.

If you can’t do customs clearance for your item, please wait. You will receive a new notification when the item is ready for customs clearance, if you need to clear it. We will clear some items arriving from outside the EU (so-called IOSS purchases) on your behalf once we complete the missing information. Your parcel will not be returned to the sender in principle because of the delay. We will store it while we complete its information.
